Japandi Villa

Design for wellbeing

This project embodies the calm elegance of the Japandi style, blending Japanese minimalism with Scandinavian coziness (hygge).

The house is designed as a space that nurtures mental well-being, where simplicity, balance, and natural light promote serenity in everyday life.

Flexible and transformable interiors adapt to changing needs, creating fluid connections between living, working, and relaxing areas. Large glazed openings invite the surrounding nature inside, blurring the boundaries between interior and exterior, and filling the home with light and openness.

The material palette enhances the sense of harmony:

  • Natural wood and stone textures bring warmth and grounding.

  • Soft neutral tones and light fabrics create brightness and calm.

  • Marble and textured ceramics add subtle sophistication.

  • Organic shapes in furniture and lighting emphasize craftsmanship and natural beauty.

Together, these elements create a timeless and balanced environment — a home designed for comfort, clarity, and connection with nature.
