Arch. Ilaria Comini
I'm Ilaria Comini, an architect and regenerative design practitioner with over a decade of experience in architecture & housing design in Germany.

Raised in a large metropolitan city, I was deeply embedded in the rhythms of urban life. Yet, like many, I felt a growing disconnection — a longing for a more meaningful relationship with the natural world.
This physical reconnection began in the most unexpected way: through the quiet act of propagating three small leaves. That simple moment sparked a profound shift, revealing to me the joy of nurturing life and the transformative power of design as a medium for healing and reconnection.

Since then, my work has been guided by a clear vision: to create spaces and systems that foster regenerative, adaptive, and nature-aligned ways of living. I approach design not just as a profession, but as a tool to restore our bond with the Earth.

If this vision resonates with you — whether you're curious, aligned, or inspired to collaborate — I warmly invite you to connect.

Bioclimatic architecture express one of the most effective tools we have to achieve a harmonious balance between the built environment and the natural world.

Driven by this belief, I pursued a Level II Master’s Degree in Environmental Design at La Sapienza University of Rome (Faculty of Architecture, Quaroni).
Additionally, I completed a two-year professional program in Baubiologie at the Institut für Baubiologie und Nachhaltigkeit (IBN), deepening my knowledge in building biology and sustainable design practices.
